Concepts, notions, and patterns direct the individual to act, think and feel a certain way.

One can use this awareness as a tool in the quest for maturity, to see clearly, finding a more compassionate, non-selfish modality for action.

Sometimes patterns become so overlapped that any singular pattern can hardly be discerned. Here it becomes increasingly difficult to act clearly. The alternative is to illuminate a path to personal sovereignty through awareness that our very idea of concept and our core notions may be the patterns that need reform.

 In these works, the patterns through which we see the protagonists are of the sand dollar'sinternal structure. This layer alludes to non-self elements, specifically to time and the expansion of time away from a perceived lifetime. Generally, this layer is alluding to the existence of non-self elements that make up the self, such as preconditioned thoughts.
